The Partridge is an artist owned and managed co-op located in Marysville, Ohio. Artisans display and sell their wares, share in the daily operation and are available to discuss the art found in the galleria.

At The Partridge, seasoned artists with impressive resumes and new talents with bright futures, are represented in a balance of two dimensional and three dimensional work. Offerings include pottery, jewelry, hypertufa and botanical casting, paintings, photography, glass, metal, soaps and lotions, wood, weavings, textiles and more.

We believe art should be shared. Our goal is to maintain a space where each member's artwork is accessible and affordable to potential art buyers and to create a better appreciation of art within the community.

Our Name
Union County has five historic bridges of which four were built in the late 1860s and 1870s. Four are still in use as part of the county highway system and are currently being well-maintained by the Union County Engineer.

All four historical covered bridges in Union County were designed and built by Reuben L. Partridge (1823-1900) and are based on a design he patented in 1872. Mr. Partridge lived in Marysville from 1836 until his death, which occurred as the result of falling from a bridge he was building north of Marysville. The Union County bridges and one in nearby Franklin County are the only remaining bridges built with Mr. Partridge’s patented design.

The Partridge Co-op is inspired by this model of good design which is timeless and enduring.
